Welcome to Needs>Labels
Needs>Labels is a sensory clothing project designed to meet the unique needs of young autistic people. Here, we showcase our latest work from our recent exhibition and provide comprehensive information about our project. Stay tuned for updates on the second phase of our project as we continue to innovate and create. Our target audience includes the general public and young people interested in our project in Warwickshire, UK. We aim to offer a range of functionalities, including displaying photographs, providing project information, and offering a contact form for inquiries.
The first phase of our project was funded by The National Lottery Community Fund. During this phase, we worked through initial ideas with a group of autistic young people on their sensory needs with clothes, looked at solutions to their issues, and made prototype clothing in our studio. This phase culminated in an exhibition showcasing our work, and we are now in a reflection period as we work out where to take our project next.
